Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore GPs may not have the capacity to do them. These services will incur a charge.

Examples include the following:

• GP Letter
• Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Private Prescriptions
• Private Fit Notes
• Enduring Power of Attorney forms
• Adoptions Medical forms

Please note that some services also attract a VAT rating, which is applied at 20%. It is at an individual GP's discretion to decide if they are able to provide these servies. Please use our Contact Us form to request a copy of the fees and to find out whether a GP is able to provide the service you require.

Whilst we cannot direct you to other individual businesses who can provide these services, you may wish to look up private GPs, solicitors, psychiatrists or occupational health doctors in the area who should be able to assist if we are unable to.

Paying Fees

We have a couple of options for paying the fee required for non-nhs work:

• card machine (at reception front desk)
• cash (at reception front desk)
• secure online payment link (can be texted to your by the secretary team)

All payments will need to be recieved in advance of the work being carried out.
