Gloucester Road Medical Centre have implemented the following measures in response to guidance issued by NHS England to manage the Covid-19 pandemic:

  • With effect from 23rd March 2020 Gloucester Road Medical Centre will be offering same day telephone appointments only with GPs via all booking platforms. If during your telephone appointment your GP decides that you need to be seen they will make a further appointment for you to be seen at the surgery.
  • Do not attend the surgery unless a face to face appointments has been agreed with a clinician.  The surgery doors are currently closed and you will only be allowed to enter the building when invited for your appointment.
  • To help reduce contact with the surgery, PLEASE NOMINATE A PHARMACY to allow prescriptions to be sent electronically. Patients simply need to contact their nominated pharmacy and ask them to do this for them.
  • In addition to this - if you need to self isolate for more than 7 days you can obtain an online ISOLATION NOTE to provide to your employer here. More information on online ISOLATION NOTES can be found here.
